A multifaceted, noteworthy wine. Reserve Alexander strikes a balance between intensity and refinement. The core of the palate is reminiscent of black currant and pomegranate fruit complimented by floral aromas of rose petal and petunia. These fruit and floral notes are interwoven with lovely fresh earth aromas of warm stone and bittersweet chocolate. The graceful structure of this wine yields supple tannins with a silky mouth feel and the interplay of the five varietals results in a noble and luxurious wine.
From the winery: The aromas are of ripe red and black fruits with no green notes found in ‘old fashioned’ Bordeaux reds. Thee palate is rich and harmonious with soft and elegant tannins. You will find with Exem a new style of Bordeaux, profiling perfectly ripe fruit (which is rare in Bordeaux), made by a dynamic grower-family.
Look for bouquets of purple flowers, allspice, dark currant and tobacco. Observe characteristics of cinnamon and black raspberry weave together. A dry Cabernet with a full body.
